Delete Your Account

You can delete your Nidhara account and everything in it, from inside the app.

In the app

1. Open Nidhara and sign in
2. Go to More
3. Under Your Account, tap Delete my Nidhara account
4. Enter your password
5. Tap Email me a code, then enter the code we send to your email address
6. Type DeLeTe exactly as shown, then tap Delete

The code and the typed word are there on purpose: an account should never be deleted by an accidental tap, or by someone who has your phone but not your email.

What gets deleted

Everything in your Nidhara account (your accounts, transactions, budgets, loans, categories and settings), along with the account itself and its sign-in.

Your Nidhara data is one account, so deleting removes it everywhere you use Nidhara (the web and any other device), not only the phone you tapped it on.

You have 24 hours to change your mind

Nothing is erased immediately. Sign in again within 24 hours and your account and all its data come back exactly as they were. After that window it is permanently deleted, and completely gone within 48 hours.

If you cannot open the app

Email [email protected] from your registered email address and we will process the deletion for you.
